Cortney and I have both had a strong interest in user experience and design. While Cortney has formal education on the subject (she’s currently working towards her masters in Human-Computer Interaction at Iowa State University!), I’ve been self-learning with cool books, blogs, and advice from trusted designer-friends.

In our quest to improve our UI/UX skills, we’ve decided to join the thousands of designers/developers and complete the Daily UI Challenge. We’ll be posting our weekly progress as we work through the challenge. We’re both also using Sketch as our design tool.
